Volunteer

The Lark Street Business Improvement District seeks volunteers to join "Team Lark" at all our events. We rely on our volunteers to make sure we have the best events in town.

Volunteers are needed throughout the day for a wide variety of tasks at each of our events:

For our street festivals, opportunities include event set up and vendor check in, assisting stage managers, and breaking down at the end of the event.

For our fundraising events, such as Champagne on the Park, volunteers are needed for event set up, guest check in and ticket sales, assisting with the silent auction, and event clean up and break down.

Great Danes Give Back Volunteer Day with UAlbany Circle K students

On Saturday, April 17, 2010 the students & the BID worked to clean up the remains of winter from Lower Lark Street. With their help, the BID was able to clean up 20 bags of organic waste, 13 garbage bags of non-organic waste, and 18 tires!!!! Thanks to the students for their hard work, DGS for lending us tools, and Bombers Burrito Bar for donating burritos to feed the students!!!
