Electronics Recycling Day

The Lark Street BID will be hosting an electronics recycling event on Saturday, August 14th from 10am to 1pm in the Trinity Church Parking lot at 249 Lark Street. There will be a number of items that will be collected at no cost as well as items that can be recycled for a small fee. Please see the full list of no charge and charge items below. NO CHARGE ITEMS: Components from a computer tower, Complete computer towers, Mice and keyboards, LCD monitors, Laptops, Cell phones, Telephones, Networking equipment, Car batteries, Surge protectors. CHARGE ITEMS: CRT Monitors: $7.00/unit; Printers, scanners, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players and stereos are broken into the following three classes: Small (1-49 lbs)$3.00/unit, Medium(50-100 lbs)$6.00/unit, and Large (101 lbs and up)$10.00/unit. AAA, AA, C, D, and other household batteries: 2.50/lb or $0.15/piece We will NOT be accepting meager house hold appliances - i.e. refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, boilers or anything of this nature. All electronics collected will be taken in by SLC Corporate Services Inc., a Hudson-based electronic waste dismantler and responsible recycler.
