Step Back in Time to 1948!
In honor of the 60th Anniversary of Albany's Tulip Festival, the Lark Street Business Improvement District is proud to present this years Champagne on the Park in 1948 style! Enjoy the sounds of the Big Band era with music from the 1940's performed live by the Keith Pray Big Soul Ensemble as you dance the night away under the Grande Tent. Period outfits will be highly encouraged for this once in a lifetime event.
Champagne on the Park honors and congratulates members of the larger Lark Street Community with a full evening of complimentary champagne, fine wine and fabulous hors' d'oeuvres from the Lark Street BID merchants. This year's fundraiser not only allows us to celebrate the people and businesses of the Lark Street Neighborhood that make this area so unique and vibrant but also celebrate 60 years of Tulip Festival in historic Washington Park.
